Hi! I have another sewing basic tutorial for you. In this tutorial I'm going to show you 5 ways on how to make a gathered skirt basically how to gather fabric. You can make the skirt in any length you like. You can make a mini, midi maxi or floor length skirt.
All kind of fabrics can be used for this project, but I do suggest non stretch fabric.

The gathering techniques used in this video:
1: Gathering fabric by hand
2: Gathering fabric on machine with one basting stitch
3: Gathering fabric on machine with two basting stitches
4: Gathering fabric on machine by hand
5: Gathering fabric with a cord

The gathering technique/methods I show in this video can be also used for other sewing projects.

This is a good beginners project.
