My Loveless Marriage: Feeling Like Roommates Instead of Partners | One Life Healthcare

Описание к видео My Loveless Marriage: Feeling Like Roommates Instead of Partners | One Life Healthcare

Hey everyone,

In this video, I open up about my deeply personal experience of being in a marriage that feels more like a roommate arrangement than a loving partnership. It's been three years since I tied the knot, and I find myself in a relationship that is physically, emotionally, and affectionately void.

My husband and I may appear like a normal couple to our families, but behind closed doors, the reality is starkly different. Our interactions are minimal, our physical intimacy is rare and one-sided, and he shows little interest in spending quality time together. He only approaches me when he wants physical closeness, leaving me feeling neglected and used.

It's a daily struggle to cope with the loneliness and the facade we maintain for the sake of appearances. I am constantly battling feelings of frustration and resentment. Despite my efforts to communicate and suggest activities to rekindle our connection, he remains indifferent, treating my attempts as nuisances.

The revelation that he had intense, soul-deep relationships before being coerced into marriage with me by his family has only added to my emotional turmoil. I didn't expect this life of isolation and disinterest. Even after having a child, nothing has changed.

Lately, I've been grappling with thoughts of infidelity, driven by a desperate need for affection and happiness. This isn't the life I envisioned, and I'm at a crossroads, unsure of how to find a solution but certain that I can't continue like this.

In sharing my story, I hope to find support, advice, and perhaps even help others in similar situations feel less alone.

Thank you for listening.
