This property had renovations done to it prior to the current owners purchasing it. When it came time for them to sell it, the new buyers searches found that there were a few additions to the property which didn't undergo Building Certification.
As this was an old Queenslander House. There were no existing drawings of the property.
Our Leica BLK2Go 3d Laser Scanner was the right tool for the job. In under 8 minutes, we had fully scanned the property inside and out. Post production and importation of the point cloud into Revit allowed us to fully redraw the property from scratch. All this with a tolerance of 5mm accuracy!
