Priya was born in a small village in Bihar and her parents shifted to the capital city of Patna for her education. She went to a top school and was always a bright student. After completing her engineering degree, she landed herself a well-paying job in the IT industry. Getting well paid and having a well-settled life didn't really inspire Priya much, as from childhood she always wanted to become an IAS officer and serve the country. Eventually, she took the leap of faith, and with full confidence, she appeared for the UPSC. She talks about her struggles, her best approach to cracking UPSC, and her experience in the UPSC prelims, UPSC mains, and in the interview. Priya's story will inspire all the UPSC aspirants to never give up in life and have strong self-belief throughout the preparation phase of the UPSC examination.
