In this video, Mike gives a basic explanation of energy systems and muscle fiber types to help viewers understand how different rep ranges (rep range for bodybuilding) affect the muscular system.

The three energy systems are explained:
1- ATP Phosphocreatine Energy System
2- Glycolytic Energy System
3- Oxidative Energy System

The two muscle fiber types are explained:
1- Slow Twitch
2- Fast Twitch (Type IIa & Type IIb)

In addition, Mike discusses rep cadence (rep speed), time under load (time under tension), and the importance of keeping continuous tension on the muscle pertaining to bodybuilding and how many reps to build muscle.
