The Trojan War. It's all been building up to this one, and... I hope I do this ancient epic justice. The Epic of Troy — or rather the Iliad — is the godfather of all epics, and it all centers around Achilles. I covered a bit of Achilles' backstory in my last video, so that I can focus on the Trojan War as a whole in this one and include all its heroes:
Hector, Ajax The Great, Diomedes, Odysseus, Patroclus, Menelaus, Agamemnon, Paris, and, of course, Helen of Sparta whose title change to Helen of Troy started the whole thing.
So... let's revise some of the historical accuracies from Ridley Scott's movie with the Briefed version of the Trojan War.

Notes:
With the Trojan War literally being a whole entire epic, I obviously had to leave some things out, but the one that hurt me the most is that I didn't go in detail on the cities that Achilles sacked, even though that's quite an entertaining tale of its own and shows the vicious side of Achilles:
In one of the city's besieged by Achilles, Patroclus and the Myrmidons, a princess figured she'd open the city's gates and lead her people to the slaughter in exchange for mercy and some Achilles loving. Well... Achilles doesn't like traitors, so after he sacked the city... he had the princess killed too.
There are many other side-stories in this epic, and many more characters, like Nestor, Palamedes and other sons of King Priam, but, honestly... I figured you guys had to juggle enough names in this one as it is.

Scene Credit:
All the opening scenes in the beginning are taken from Ridley Scott's Troy, which I will always recommend as a great rendition of the Trojan War. It's not perfectly accurate, but it's perfectly fun. Other than that, the 'Art is Death' scene is from Man on Fire (one of my favorite movies, ironically from Ridley Scott's late brother Tony) and the 'What are you a girl or something' scene is from Due Date. The Denzel Washington scene is from Equalizer 2, and the argument between Achilles and Agamemnon is from Step Brothers, while Menelaus whooping Paris is from Only God Forgives.
I think that covers everything... drop a comment if I missed something.
