FINALLY!! There hasn't been a new Halo set in ages. With the closing of Toys R Us and Amazon's inability to accurately maintain product listings without price gouging, Mega has nearly disappeared from store shelves in 2018. There are a number of sets that have been queued up for many months now, and hopefully we'll start seeing them as the holidays come up on us.
Two very nice additions to the line with this set: First, the box opens MUCH easier. This was a nice surprise. Second, the bags are numbered in this set, and actually correlate to the instructions. Unfortunately, I didn't see this until after I'd dumped everything out.
The set itself is great... nice paint apps on the spartan and his weapon. The Covenant characters I believe are just re-releases... I think these exact same figures have been released before in other sets. This is a nice big set, and was fun to build. The quality of the instruction book and the colors was really nice, which isn't always the case with Mega. There are a number of extra parts, some which make me question whether I missed something, but that too is typical.
