A shiplap accent wall doesn’t have to just reflect the farmhouse style – it can also blend with boho and create an amazing boho farmhouse style. A shiplap wall alone won’t highlight a boho style, but when topped off with a natural wood plant shelf, it’s a simple and amazing twist that creates a fabulous boho farmhouse style. White shiplap is also a very beautiful and classic farmhouse look, so if you want to bring in more of a boho vibe, try painting the shiplap a different color. This video shows how I removed the baseboards, trim the side baseboards to slid my shiplap in, how to cut around an outlet and make the outlet pop out, and how to add a seamless plant shelf with hidden screws.
