Motor Control Center Applications (Part 1)

This session will review common questions around the motor control center and provide a foundation of knowledge for the attendee to build upon for proper installation and application. Code references will be based upon NEC 2020. The attendees will have a chance to submit questions ahead of this event that will be reviewed and answered by the presenters.

Motor Control Centers are the industrial world’s swiss army knife because this equipment is commonly used for both distribution and control for many different industry applications. This equipment is built on the premise of modular construction and in today’s day and age looked at in regard to intelligent industry equipment essential for electrical safety.

The attendees of this session will understand the codes and standards around motor control centers and the features and functions important for electrical safety when specifying, installing and maintaining these solutions.
