What exactly is revenue growth?

Simply put, revenue growth is the amount of money your company makes over a predetermined period of time in comparison to the previous, identical period of time. For example, it could be how much money you made this month compared to last month.

"Revenue" is frequently mixed up with "sales" and "earnings." So let's take a quick look at the distinctions:

Revenue is the total amount of money earned from all sources, such as sales, investments, royalties, fees, and so on. Expenses aren't taken into account.

Sales: The amount of money earned from the sale of goods or services is referred to as sales. They also do not account for expenses.

Earnings: The earnings are calculated by deducting expenses from revenue.

ABOUT OUR MENTOR:

Abhishek works at Sai Life Sciences Ltd as an Associate Director. He has around 7 years of consulting and industry experience and has worked as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte US India Pvt Ltd in the Strategy & Operations (S&O) division. He is skilled in using industry-leading approaches to assist customers to resolve challenges related to GTM Strategy, Supply Chain Planning, Process Improvements, and Product & Inventory Strategy.

He earned an MBA from the S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). He is a Confederation of Indian Industry Institute (CII) Certified Supply Chain Management Executive and a Six Sigma Green belt. He was also a B - Tech student at IIT Madras.

We also answered some of the questions that were asked by the participants.
