In the near term, a modest correction remains possible, especially around year-end when liquidity thins and markets can be pushed around. However, any pullback is expected to be temporary. In both 1979–80 and 2010–11, silver exploded higher only after years of advance, with each surge featuring a brief midpoint pause that convinced many the move was over. Those pauses proved to be fake-outs before even more substantial upside followed.
Using logarithmic analysis rather than simple arithmetic, the long-term silver range expands dramatically. A historical move from roughly $4 to $50, when doubled on a log scale, points toward much higher levels—potentially well beyond $100 and even into the $500 zone in a mature cycle.
