To took solo preparation you need to follow these following steps
1.Buy the books
2. Start reading just after the front page
3.Solve at least one set question a day and analyse your performance
4. Search Google for writing and speaking sample answers
6.Take at least 1.5 to 2 hrs for each module per day.

Disclaimer: Before watching the video I want you to know that I have no professional training on ielts. Neither I'm a professional IELTS trainer nor a Native English speaker. I Just got band 7.5 in my ielts exam. So I can't train you or teach you to get your desired score in IELTS.  I just can share my experience so that you can understand what is probably gonna happen with you in your ielts exam and can prepare yourself to nail it. That's what I'm doing here.
I just wanted to share my experience.  I had no plans to share any tips or tricks for any particular module. Still I'm doing this as you were expecting this from my side. I hope this wills help you. Sorry if it's not that worth watching.  I'm overwhelmed with your love and appreciation.  Didn't expect that much.
