After walking out of her job at the nursery, Fiona makes a sudden and shocking confession to Veronica. She’s pregnant by Craig (Chris Coghill) from episode six. She hasn’t told him and she’s not sure what to do except find new employment and quick. Veronica comes to the rescue and finds her a driving job delivering car parts but Fiona points out that she can’t drive. Lessons are needed and the only driving instructor they know is Craig. Fiona suspects she’s been set up by Veronica but goes round to see him and fixes up a lesson. Her first hour behind the wheel goes well but as Fiona works up the courage to break the news to him he makes a pass, it all goes wrong and Craig remains oblivious to Fiona’s situation.
