The Nidecker Snow Surf Quiver 2021/2022

WHAT WE DO: Nidecker has an intimate connection to the snowsurfing movement. To keep the stoke of surfing alive so far from the ocean, former pro snowboarder turned shaper, Thierry Kunz had to find a way to surf the mountains at home in the Swiss Alps. His solution was to design a line of boards that require a riding style driven off the back foot, just like driving through a turn off the bottom of a wave. An obsession with the force of gravity and the unique feeling of riding a surfboard are the inspirations behind this collection, which combines singular surfing technologies like epoxy glassing with industry leading snowboard manufacturing techniques, and stylistic touches like our old school logos and a simple white line down the middle of the base, just like the stringer on a surfboard.

WHO WE DO IT FOR: Our snowsurfs are made for truly experienced riders committed to performance and excellence, who spend as much time in the water as they do on snow and know that having the best time is all about having the right board for the conditions on the day if you’re truly dedicated to riding, you’ve acquired a quiver of boards perfect for everything from slashing spring slush to laying down big turns through steep and deep fields of powder. If back foot riding and full rail carves are all what you’re all about, these boards are a dream come true.

The MOSQUITO
This board is built for the rider not afraid to ride short boards built with a lot of character. Small side cut radius and short running edges result in something powerful, allowing you to ride fast and smooth.
The logo was designed by Henry Nidecker’s grandmother in 1946. The shape is inspired by the first Nidecker boards from 1984. Authentic to the core.

The SMOKE
This board is a classic side cut from the 90’s. A medium side cut and more recognisable sizes give you versatility and comfort. The construction absorbs terrain perfectly, allowing you to maximize fun.
The inspiration for this board came directly from the original Donuts snowboard brand born in 1995 and produced in the Nidecker factory. It’s a nod to TK’s first shapes.

The GUN
Just like a true surf gun, this board is made for those who want to charge. Long sidecut radius and long running edges provide stability, while still allowing you to carve like nothing else.
Born from the first globally known Nidecker boards in the 80s, it mixes both the old and new with its shape and logo.
