The Reflex-Korelle, introduced in 1935, was the second SLR design camera, only beaten by the Eichapfel Noviflex by a few months. Made by Franz Kochman, later Korelle-Werk Dresden, the K-R II was released in 1936, and this version of K-R II, with a chrome top plate was released in 1939. It is extremely rare to find a working K-R, and harder to find someone to fix them – failed curtains and shutters being the main problems. They came with a large number of lens options, this one has the Xenar f:2.8, 75mm, with the slow shutter speed dial to give speeds of 2 – 1/1000 Sec. They take 12 No 6x6cm Exposures on 120 Roll Film. An important camera in SLR design.
