Throw away all burdens (60 Min. improvised MicroFreak + Reverb)

I've had a very eventful month. It had almost everything to do with my music. Unfortunately, there is no time for that in the end. And I want to talk about that today because it weighs heavily on me.

I've had a creative slump in the last few weeks. Yes, I know, it happens to everyone sometimes. But I haven't had anything like that in the last 6 years. I always delivered my jams well. Always made nice music. So compensation for my stressful life, my strenuous work? Certainly.

I've been living in my trailer for almost a year now. Far from stress and effort. It's like paradise. It's a Dream. But like everything, this too has its downsides. And it caught up with me about 3 months ago. Shortly after Jamuary, the loneliness caught me off guard. No, it's not the silence that bothers me. It is the silence, the unstoppable aloneness that allows you to get along with yourself. It's so depressing. A year ago I wouldn't have thought that I would be happy to socialize with people. I hated crowds, it was all too much for me. And now? Now I'm longing for a conversation, a short conversation. I find myself artificially prolonging irrelevant conversations with other campground residents just to avoid feeling lonely.

That's why I prescribed more action in my life in the last 4 weeks, during which I also had vacation. I planned the trip to the Superbooth and turned it into a road trip that led me to many good and long-time friends and thus to long and extensive conversations. That was like balm for my soul. It felt so good.

Now I'm back home and writing you these lines. I know that many of you are worried about my well-being but don't say so. But I feel you. I know that you are with me. Thank you for not giving up on me. Count on it, I'm tough and I've been through worse.

But the most important thing now is that I find my way back to music and create a regularity. So you can assume that there will be more regular music again. It's nice that I can share this with you.

In order to find a jam again after such a long time, it was important to me to work with a device that I know so that I feel safe. Yes, my first choice would certainly have been the Volca Bass if it wasn't for May 31st. some anniversary would come up.

That's why I decided on the freak and just started playing. Today I used the VAnalog Oscilator instead of the Basic Waves Oscilator.

Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.
