Umsindo is written in ZULU, a song that talks about the absurd way in which people blame money for what they do. And so the song first speaks of what people do to get this money and then questions the logic that says money is the root of all evil. Is it money that kills money to get money? Have you ever seen money go into a shop itself to buy something? Those are two of the questions we ask in this song. Influenced by conversations Mnqobi Duma had in a Rural place in KwaZulu Natal South Africa, a place called KwaSwayimani. Here where with some friends from the village Mnqobi had conversations about the nature of money and from that this song was composed.
