First of all, I have never released a live acoustic version of anything on YouTube or anywhere for that matter.
So here’s the story about why I decided to do this.

A couple of months ago, Jade Starr was nice enough to sing on her show, “I’ll take you there” while playing acoustic guitar. She was amazing of course.

It got me thinking that I started the process of writing this song while strumming the guitar.
So I decided, today, just to get my phone out, throw the camera on and just play the song.
I only did one take, so please excuse any Imperfections and I’m sure there are many.

But that’s how I start writing most of our songs. I thought you might find it interesting.

I’d like to dedicate this performance to Jade Starr and Russ 8889, who for some reason, are huge supporters of I’ll Take You There.

And of course, thank you as always to Jenny, my partner and producer, who wrote most of the lyrics to the song.

I didn’t even tell her I was doing this project by the way. I don’t think I could have handled any criticism and have to do another take.
So don’t say anything to her. Lol.

UPDATE: Jenny knows and she likes it. Whew.
