Описание к видео Session 4 - Before Christ and the World - What it means to be a Confessional Lutheran Seminar

Recording of a two-day seminar presented by Rev Dr Stephen Pietsch, Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology, Concordia Seminary St Louis, in Tanunda, South Australia on 7-8 June 2025.

This seminar is for anybody who wants to understand what it actually means to believe and confess the faith as a Lutheran. The seminar explores the Lutheran Confessions (The Book of Concord) and how they clearly and faithfully teach the doctrines of Holy Scripture. It looks into the story of how and why the Confessions were written and why they are still so important for Lutherans today who wish to get clear Christian teaching on matters like salvation by grace, the ministry of the Word, the pastoral office, the Sacraments, church fellowship and more.
