Thanks to Lakshman sir for providing the recording and giving permission to share with the world on this glorious occasion.

Without a doubt, TNS brings the best of South Indian Classical Music. His vast repertoire, breathtaking brigas, spellbinding speed, cerebral imagination, impressive innovation and total surrender to tradition and immersion to the musical artform are all here for everyone to enjoy. When he was at his peak, he was breathtaking. Those who got to see him live during his peak including yours truly were soaked in fantastic music.

I send my praNams and birthday greetings to Sri TNS for his good health and well being. And on behalf of the TNS rasikas and everyone, I would like to thank him for his superlative service that has enriched Bharatiya Sangeetham for many decades and will continue to flourish.

This is a reupload as Lalgudi is not the violinist for this concert. I sincerely regret the error and will do better next time. But I do believe mridangam is either by Palghat Raghu or his disciple Trichur Narendran. If the latter sees this, I request him to please confirm.

Those who attended this concert, please share your reminiscences. Those who are listening for the first time, please share your thoughts.

If there is one thing that makes us positive, gives hope and brings us together, it is music. And this concert is a perfect example! Let's enjoy it together.
