This video profiles the lower section of the Crooked River Track between Talbotville Road and Talbotville. This section of the track involves crossing both the Wongungarra and the Crooked Rivers. The Wongungarra River crossings can be reasonably deep at times, particularly during Winter and Spring, when river levels are elevated. These crossings should be treated with caution when the water level is high. At these times, walk the crossings if you're not familiar with them and make sure that all vehicles have a snorkel. This section of the Crooked River Track is more like a road and is an easy drive to the Talbotville camping area. This section of the Crooked River Track is a medium track (due to the river crossings) but can be difficult when river levels are up. The track takes between 35mins-1hr to drive.
