Very proud to present this one for Sonic's 30th Anniversary!

It's no secret that the franchise, and the music in particular, was a large part of my childhood and adolescence, and played a big part in shaping who I am today.

Star Light Zone's music, in particular, is one of my earliest memories of video game music- nay, music in general- ever moving me emotionally. The song always had a feeling of longing and hopefulness... cliche as it may sound, the music has always fit the "wishing upon a star" type of vibe, which I assume is what they were going for!

It is for that reason that SLZ is probably my favorite Sonic tune ever, and what with hearing so much Colors' music as of late due to the Ultimate announcement, I was able to piece this mash-up of sorts together- a tribute to the series, and two of it's best star-themed tunes!

My music means a lot to me, but this one in particular just hit a little different when making. I always get nostalgic when working with Sonic remixes but this one got me feeling extra sentimental. I hope you'll enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed working on it!

Thank you to the Sonic series for inspiring me as a child to become the musician I am as an adult today. And equally, thank YOU for taking the time to listen!
