This was the first Batman game released for the NES, back in 1989. For the day it had wonderful graphics and sound. I'm not sure how it was recieved by the press, but I can't imagine it got any sort of bad reviews.

The graphics are very crisp for the day, the music is great.
Batman is a good game that was probably a hit during it's day, but is not mentioned much these days. I recommend it to anyone who wants a fun side- scroller.
