Why is Thicker Oil Recommended For Turbo Cars?

John calls in to talk about his 2022 Subaru that he just purchased. He notices that the recommended oil in the turbo variant of his subaru calls for 5w-30 oil and the naturally aspirated version calls for 0w-20. Larry tells him that there is no difference in engine tolerances and should run the 5w-30 engine oil over the 0w-20.
