Breaking News | Adani-Hindenburg Case: Supreme Court Gives SEBI Time Till Aug 14 To Submit Report

Breaking News: The capital markets regulator SEBI has been given three extra months by the Supreme Court to wrap up its investigation into the Hindenburg case. The Supreme Court turned down the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI) request for an additional six months today. The SEBI was ordered by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud to produce a status report on its probe by August 14; the court will then determine whether or not to grant the regulator further time in response to the regulator's attorney Tushar Mehta's request at the hearing today.
