The biggest new for Travellers.. Russia has started E-visa for India and 51 other countries from 1 august 2023.. This move comes in the wake of enhancing bilateral ties and promoting tourism between the two nations.

But there is a big news for travelers who want to visit Russia in 2025 , Russia has announced the extension of e-visa validity of 120 days and staying for 30 days against 16 days earlier..
Belarus and Russia has signed an agreement for mutual recognition of visa .. which means if a traveller has russian visa he can now travel to Belarus on the same visa and vice versa..

With this development, it will enable Indian travellers to apply for their Russian visa swiftly and conveniently, which will further open the doors to an enriching travel experience.

As per a statement released by the Russia’s Foreign Ministry, citizens of around 52 different countries will be able avail the benefits of electronic visa.
Russia e-visa will be processed in a maximum of four days and a $40 consular fee will be charged for the facility.
The visa will allow an individual to enter the Russian Federation on a guest, business, or tourist visit as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, and sports events. The validity period of a single electronic visa is 120 days from the date of its registration with the permitted period of stay of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation not exceeding 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of the Russian Federation.
