1. Security Guard must be a holder of an academic qualification not less than tenth (10th)
grade or above.
2. Security Guard must not be under the age of 21 or over 60 years old.
3. Security guard must undergo security guard course and test to be conducted
and the certificate issued from SIRA training centre (Security Cadre Training
Centre).

Does height matter in a security guard?
No. The bottom line is that a security guard's training and skills far outweigh the way someone looks or how tall they are. However, there are instances where a client or business will look for a security guard who is bigger because that is what they are looking for.
