ABSTRACT
“Education is the passport for the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” - Malcolm X

Architecture is the art of spaces. Human feelings were influenced by architectural space from time to time. Relating to the design of a science museum could evoke a certain feeling or memory of inspirational events. This dissertation focuses on the influence of architectural space over a period of time through meaningful experiences.

Theoretical as well as a practical key issue in the design of museums and galleries is how the layout of space interacts with displays to create a specific effect, express the intended message to visitors. This dissertation aims to capture and represent mankind's understanding of space in the design of an architectural building of a science museum in the city of science.

Bruno Zevi describes:
" Architecture..... Does not consist in the sum of the width, length, and height of the structural elements which enclosed space, but in the void itself, the closed space in which man lives and moves."

In a museum, there are many different functions. It is important to deal with all these functions with the same type of space. Even the exhibition space are not all the same. The fixed exhibition room is different from the temporary exhibition space because of its simpler function and particular atmosphere, which relates to the individual theme of each fixed exhibition room.
