आज हम बात करेंगे एक ऐसे सवाल पर जो लगभग हर प्रेग्नेंट महिला के मन में आता है –
👉 ‘डॉक्टर मैडम, मेरा बच्चा अभी उल्टा है, क्या ये सही है?’
👉 ‘किस महीने तक बच्चे की पोज़िशन fix हो जाती है?’

🍼 बच्चा उल्टा या सीधा क्या मतलब है?
• गर्भ में बच्चा कई तरह की position में रह सकता है।
• जब बच्चे का सिर नीचे होता है और पैर ऊपर → इसे Cephalic या Head-down position कहते हैं (Normal delivery के लिए best)।
• जब बच्चे का सिर ऊपर और पैर नीचे → इसे Breech position कहते हैं।
• इसके अलावा कभी-कभी बच्चा आड़ा भी हो सकता है (Transverse lie)।

📌 किस महीने तक position fix होती है?
• 5th–6th month तक बच्चा छोटा होता है और पानी (amniotic fluid) ज़्यादा → बच्चा बार-बार पलट सकता है।
• 7th month (28 weeks) आते-आते बच्चा settle होना शुरू करता है।
• 8th month (32–34 weeks) तक ज्यादातर babies अपना सिर नीचे कर लेते हैं।
• 9th month (36 weeks के बाद) → final position almost fix हो जाती है।

👉 मतलब – अगर 36 weeks के बाद बच्चा head-down है तो normal delivery के chances ज़्यादा हैं।
👉 अगर 36–37 weeks तक भी बच्चा breech है तो फिर special ध्यान रखना पड़ता है।

⚠️ उल्टी position का मतलब क्या है?
• 36 weeks के बाद अगर बच्चा उल्टा है (breech position), तो कभी-कभी doctors try करते हैं External Cephalic Version (ECV), जिसमें बाहर से gentle तरीके से बच्चे को घुमाने की कोशिश की जाती है।
• लेकिन ये हर case में possible नहीं होता, depends on माँ और बच्चे की health पर।
• अगर बच्चा breech ही रहे तो delivery का तरीका (Normal या C-section) doctor decide करता है, safety के हिसाब से।

• “क्या उल्टे बच्चे के साथ normal delivery हो सकती है?”
👉 Rarely possible, लेकिन आजकल safety के लिए ज्यादातर doctors cesarean suggest करते हैं।
• “अगर बच्चा अभी उल्टा है तो क्या वो पलट सकता है?”
👉 हाँ, 36 weeks तक chances रहते हैं कि बच्चा खुद पलट जाए।

👉 7th month तक बच्चा position बदलता रहता है, ये normal है।
👉 36 weeks तक बच्चा final position में आ जाता है।
👉 Breech होने पर घबराएँ नहीं, अपने doctor से regular check-up करते रहें।
