Stereotypes for kids - What are stereotypes?

Описание к видео Stereotypes for kids - What are stereotypes?

Stereotypes are all around us in our everyday lives. A stereotype is a fixed belief that a person or group of people should behave, act or think in a certain way - and they are often unfair and harmful.

Common stereotypes can include feeling pressured to wear certain clothes, listen to only some types of music or play only certain sports.

Stereotypes can also lead to developing prejudices again a person or group of people.

It's important we challenge stereotypes and look to develop a growth mindset of curiosity and care for those around us.
