Parliament Judiciary on warpath as govt desperate to defy apex court order via new law before 06 Aug

In a dramatic turn of events the government is trying to pitch the parliament against judiciary through a new law that will apparently prevent implementation of a Supreme Court order before the 06 Aug deadline. The apex court had declared that Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) had been wrongly deprived of its special quota of women and minorities seats in national and provincial assemblies and as per the order 06 Aug is the deadline for implementation of its order and filing a a compliance report before the apex court.
