Pavones Costa Rica Surf Report September 26, 2024

Small waves today!

More small, glassy waves this morning from a weak medium period wind swell coming out of the south.

We have a steep angled south wind swell passing through today that looks very weak. The swell was predicted to be running about 1-2ft out of the south at 174 degrees with 12 second periods. Mostly knee to waist high waves, however, there was the occasional chest high set coming through if you were in the right place at the right time.

The winds were calm, but with a bit of texture from early this morning, winds will likely build throughout the day.

It was mostly cloudy this morning, but no rain yet today.
