mk7 golf heaters not blowing warm air and loosing about a pint of water every few days.. well this is why and also the repair procedure. it's quite a common fault across the vag platforms where the heater core blocks up with casting sand after manufacture.. there is no easy or cheap way about doing this job as the core replacement is fairly simple, it's the actual cleaning of the coolant system that is quite labour intensive!!
