We live in a medical model designed to diagnose the particular disease or syndrome that can be reimbursed by your insurance and has an approved drug or surgery treatment. The problem with this is that no one is looking for the reason why you aren't feeling well, plus, when your tests don't show a disease or syndrome your doctor tells you that you are fine.

"Fine" means that your doctor couldn't identify a disease. "Fine" does NOT mean there's nothing wrong with you and it definitely doesn't mean you should have to life with the awful symptoms that are plaguing you.

Can you blood test be "fine" and you still have a problem? Yes and No. It could be yes, because your underlying problem isn't seen in your blood. It could be no, because our blood tests have to large a range of what is considered to be normal, when it's truly very far away from optimal function.

If you have a food sensitivity or an imbalance microbiome or a hormonal imbalance or toxicity, it won't necessarily show up on a typical blood panel. The problem is there, your doctor is simply not looking in the right area.

Why? Why don't doctors ask why their patients have symptoms that they can find no reason for? Do they assume it's "all in their patients' head"? There's certainly a lot of doctors who insinuate that to their patients while they urge them to see a psychiatrist. It's an injustice in my opinion. I think they should try a lot harder to find the real reason why before assuming it's all psychological.

If this is you and you feel terrible but no one is helping; I'm here for you. My team and I are adept at finding the reason underlying your symptoms. We know you're not making it up - the underlying cause just hasn't been found yet. We'd be delighted to help. Consider calling us for a consultation: 727-335-0400.
