Humanists Zimbabwe is a secular Humanist community that values human welfare, freedom, equality, and ethical living. They oppose bigotry, hate speech, and all forms of oppression. They aim to promote secularism and build a freethinking, progressive Zimbabwe guided by science and human empathy. Furthermore, believe that society is better when people are free to live their lives without religious limitations on their understanding of the human condition and public policy discourse.

World Humanist Day is celebrated every year on 21st June and has been celebrated since the 1980s. It’s an opportunity for Humanists all around the world to publicise the positive values of Humanism and to share the global concerns of the Humanist movement.
