How to Make Friends After School? Alumni Events.

I just got back from an awesome event with the Stanford Alumni Angels and Entrepreneurs of SoCal, and I wanted to share my experience with you all after I've graduated from business school. 🙌

The vibe was lively and engaging, with a bunch of people across Stanford (Law School, Business School, Med School, Undergrad) coming together to share ideas and make new connections.The golden rule of networking is to be interested in the person you're talking to, not just try to be interesting yourself. Ask thoughtful questions and really listen to what they have to say—it helps build a real connection. 👂💬

Throughout the event, I mingled with new people, introduced myself, and sometimes took a moment to stand alone and recharge. It's important to balance starting conversations and being approachable when others want to talk to you 🤝✨
