Wolves and Grizzly Bears in Yellowstone: Lamar Valley Wildlife

The Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park is home to some amazing wildlife. We had an early morning looking wolves and grizzly bears, and guess what - We were successful! It was awesome to get to see the beautiful wildlife.

The story of the reintroduction of the wolves of Yellowstone is fascinating. We highly recommend looking into that story. It's amazing how their reintroduction has really help re-complete the Yellowstone ecosystem.

We also had the chance to see some big horn sheep climbing a wall!

We’re Eric and Ashley, an American couple who has spent the last 5 years living and working in Saudi Arabia. After almost 2 years without returning to the US, we finally made it back in July of 2021 and took the chance to explore some of our home country by setting off through the beautiful national parks of the Rocky Mountains.
