The controversy surrounding Mohan Babu University in Tirupati has escalated. Student union leaders staged a protest, alleging that the university is exploiting students with exorbitant fees. When the student leaders went to file a complaint with the Collector regarding this issue, they were allegedly kidnapped by Mohan Babu's followers. The student leaders filed a complaint at the Tiruchanur police station regarding the kidnapping. Police identified that two SFI leaders, Vinod and Akbar, had been kidnapped and held captive in a farmhouse. The police rescued the two kidnapped SFI leaders. Meanwhile, student unions are furious over the incident and are demanding immediate action against Mohan Babu and Vishnu.
