This week in my Window Restoration series, I finally made solid progress — I got four of the large outer window frames assembled and I’ve been deep in a router trim marathon to duplicate the original profiles. Nearly every window piece needs some kind of router work, and some of these trim sections took multiple passes and different bit setups to match the old frames as closely as possible. Slow and steady… but it’s coming together.
We also had a couple snow days (and just got 3–4 inches here at the property), so I mixed in a little real off-grid life: firewood prep, plus I cooked up an awesome stew and filmed the process. And to change things up, I took a few minutes to throw a taser and talk about the new .22 cal air gun (including an unboxing segment and the air pump), with a quick mention of the .45 cal as well.
