In Part 1 of our Leadville adventure, we set up camp near the breathtaking Twin Lakes and hike to the historic Interlaken Resort, an abandoned gem from 1879, deserted since the 1950s. With the shimmering lakes and towering mountains as our backdrop, this morning hike feels like stepping into a time capsule. Wander with us through the eerie remains of this forgotten resort and soak in the magic of Colorado’s high country.
