A calm autumn day at Sandemar Nature Reserve, just outside Stockholm.
The first birds I encountered were redpolls — tiny finches that always remind me winter isn’t far away. The air filled with the calls of whooper swans and flying wigeons.

But this trip wasn’t only about birds. The ground of the forest and meadows told another story — one of wild boars, who had clearly made their presence known… in large amounts.

This video captures a beautiful Swedish autumn landscape.
