Apart from Nazakat and Salamat Ali Khan, who were at the height of their popularity, the video clip features almost all the big names of the Pakistan film industry at the time, including Waheed Murad, Darpan, Santosh Kumar, Mohammad Ali, Ejaz Durrani, Habib-ur-Rehman, Safirullah Siddiqui (Lehri) and Agha Talish.

Allah Rakha, who happened to be visiting Lahore from India, was roped in for tabla, while the music was composed by Salim Iqbal and Ahmed Rahi wrote the lyrics.

The film also featured a song in Malgunji, "sajan laagi tori lagan man maa" by Noor Jehan and Farida Khanum,    • Farida Khanum | Noor Jehan | Malgunji...   on which classical dance was performed by Zareen Panna and Emi Menuwala. The picturisation included a number of cameos including Noor Jehan, Sabiha Khanum, Santosh Kumar, Ejaz, Yasmin, Waheed Murad, Habib, Nazar and Sultan Rahi.
