Current electricity is the next chapter after electrostatics in the electromagnetism portion. Question 1. This question looks very difficult when you first look at it but it is easily solvable if you are capable of identifying equipotential points in an electric circuit. With this method you can easily find out the equivalent resistance of this circuit. 01:02

Question 2. Here, you have to make a series and parallel arrangement out of 24 cells in order to get maximum power across external load. Maximum power transfer theorem is used here to get that combination. This involves finding equivalent emf and equivalent resistance of the circuit. We have explained the standard method as well as a short trick for solving such kind of questions. 08:46

Question 3. You might have solved many questions where you are asked about the value of resistance at a particular temperature and temperature coefficient is given. These questions come under the topic of variation of resistance with temperature. But the interesting thing about this question is that the temperature coefficient is not a constant instead it is varying with temperature. For such cases cases you need to remember the standard formula for temperature coefficient of resistance which we have explained here. 17:20

Question 4. Here an electric circuit is given where you need to find out the value of electric current and potential difference in various branches. Simple Kirchoff's laws and Ohm's law are used here in order to find out those values in this multiple options correct question. 20:36

Question 5. This question uses the formula that relates electric current with drift speed. The only thing you need to find here is the number density of the electrons in the given conductor and then you can easily find out the value of drift speed. 24:24
