LADIES. AND. GENTLEMEN.Can we TALK about what we just witnessed this season?!
Because the Indiana Hoosiers didn’t just have a good year — they detonated college football history.
We are talking undefeated. 16 and OH.We are talking FIRST national championship — EVER.And we are talking about a season so wild, people are going to argue about it at tailgates for the next 50 years. 
And leading the charge?Fernando. Mendoza.
The man didn’t just win the Heisman — he DOMINATED the voting, took first place in every region, and became the first Hoosier in history to bring that trophy home. 
Main character energy.College football’s golden boy.Absolute problem for every defense that lined up across from him.
And then — THE play.
National Championship on the line.Fourth down.Season hanging by a thread.
Mendoza keeps the ball…LOWERS the shoulder…Spins off contact…Stumbles — but doesn’t fall…Traffic everywhere — defenders grabbing air —And then he goes FULL SUPERMAN — launches himself horizontal — arms stretched — ball breaking the plane —
TOUCHDOWN INDIANA.
GAME.SEASON.HISTORY. 
That run sealed the championship win over Miami and capped one of the most improbable seasons college football has ever seen. 
And I’m just sitting here like —Did we really just watch that happen?Because seasons like that? Those are once-in-a-lifetime kind of seasons.

Then in this next little early-morning clip — very soft, umber lighting, super peaceful vibes — I’m making a vertical heart banner using leftover scraps. And I love that, because it reminds me how God uses what we think are just “leftovers” and turns them into something meaningful and beautiful.
While I’m working, I’m thinking about love — real love — and how God loved us first. Not after we got everything together. Not after we were perfect. First. Always first.
So as we head into this Valentine season, I just want to wish everyone a truly blessed one — whether you have a sweetheart or not. Because the truth is, God’s love is with us in every single season of life.
