On the Issues: Marquette Law School Poll

The Marquette Law School Poll’s June 2024 survey of Wisconsin includes reaction to the jury’s guilty verdict against Donald Trump in a New York state criminal case as well as the sentiments on the general election for president and U.S. Senate. Presidential matchups include both President Joe Biden vs. former President Donald Trump and a six-way contest including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Chase Oliver, Jill Stein, and Cornel West. Perceptions of which candidate would handle each of seven issues better and of candidate characteristics are also included for Biden and Trump. In the race for U.S. Senate, the poll includes vote choice between Sen. Tammy Baldwin and challenger Eric Hovde and favorability ratings for each. Views of national and state issues are included, along with job-approval ratings for President Biden and Governor Tony Evers and favorability ratings of former President Trump, Sen. Ron Johnson, and others.
