SUMMER KISSES WINTER TEARS ~ ELVIS AND MARILYN

This is my new video for another favourite of mine, the beautiful,bittersweet and sad "Summer Kisses Winter Tears" a song cut from the 1960 movie "Flaming Star" which i think was the right decision but the song is another gem from Elvis.The song became more known in 1991 when a singer named Julee Cruise recorded it as part of a soundtrack for the movie "Until The End of The World",she was best known for her music on David Lynch's "Twin Peak" tv series and "Blue Velvet" movie. Julee Cruises's version of "Summer Kisses Winter Tears" was produced by David Lynch who is a big fan of Elvis,so i have combined Julee's version with Elvis' acappella version and it turned out pretty good.Now, i have wanted to do a video of Elvis and Marilyn together but wasn't sure what to do until i heard Julee's version of that song because to me it sounded like if Marilyn had recorded that song then it would sound like Julee Cruise's version, so i have created a duet of Elvis and Marilyn singing the song with Julee voicing Marilyn.This is a tribute to Elvis,Marilyn and ofcourse Julee who recently passed away last June.Its ironic because all three stars passed away in the summer time, Elvis in the summer of 1977,Marilyn in the summer of 1962 and Julee in the summer of 2022 and the song happened to be called "Summer Kisses Winter Tears".Hope you all like it and thanks to everyone for subscribing to my channel and Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate this holiday.
