Caprice vs. Legacy GT @ Willow Springs Drag Racing | Will's Builds Ep.22

What was originally going to be the LAST 1000' drag racing event of the year at Willow Springs International Raceway turned into a night of fast runs for both Kayla in her 2005 Legacy GT and my 2012 Caprice PPV!

We ran against each other a couple times but my GoPro had already died by that time :/ However, I did manage to get a few runs of each of us, including Kayla's 12.530 @ 81.3 mph!

We found that cooling the intercooler down with water right before a run resulted in significantly faster runs (most around 12.7-12.8), with her heat soaked runs coming in around 13.0 each time.

*From everything I've read about and seen on time slips from 1/4 mile drag strips, the 1000' times are about 15% less than the 1320' times. Therefore, our 12.53 would be right around 14.4-14.5 secs on a full 1/4 mile track.*

The next event is November 23rd and it is a day race so video quality should be MUCH better!
