Severe drought requires creative solutions to our landscaping needs. This class will cover principles of waterwise landscaping, including the use of drought-tolerant plants, sprinkler schedules, and overall water conservation, as well as basic stormwater management.

Kora Mousseaux is the Community Water Resource Conservationist at Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District. She provides technical and financial assistance to landowners in Jackson County, to implement stewardship projects that protect and conserve water and other natural resources. Kora has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from SOU.
