After living in our van for only a couple of days, there a few things we wanted to change just to make our lives a little bit easier. As our van did not have a shower, adding one was a must for us so that whenever we are free camping, we are still able to enjoy the luxury's being clean. Other than the many items that we wanted to upgrade in the van, we also wanted to add a safe in order to keep our valuables safe.

All these renovations took us quite a while to do and as we were in the lake district area of northern England, we decided to also check out these lakes before taking on this massive renovation task.

Oh yes, we have a name for our van :)
