Learned behaviors in animals are behaviors that are acquired through experiences, observations, and interactions with the environment. One example of learned behavior is the foraging techniques of dolphins. Social behaviors are also learned in lions. They learn how to establish and maintain dominance hierarchies within the pride, cooperate during hunts, and communicate through vocalizations and body language. These learned behaviors contribute to the stability and cohesion of the pride, ensuring their overall survival and successful reproduction.

Learned behaviors allow individuals to acquire knowledge and skills that are not innate but gained through interaction and learning from their surroundings. Through learning, animals can develop a wide range of behaviors that enhance their ability to navigate their environment, communicate, acquire food, and interact with others.
